Selected Works of the Kyou System
As time has gone on, and I've consolidated more and more of the fruits of my monomaniacal labor here on Signal Tower, it's become clear to me that the sheer volume of content here is probably overwhelming to most everyone who visits.
Thus, I've created this page in an attempt to provide something of an introduction to my work to those not familiar with it, as well as a listing of the particular components of my machinery that I'm particularly pleased with and that I feel best capture and express what Kyou System is all about.
If the content showcased below piques your interest at all, I encourage you to wander through the other pages of my website at your leisure, especially the Game Development page, heheh.

Fiction:
- The Solitary Soldier - A piece of flash fiction I wrote about a lonely soldier made of steel.
- The Underground Library - A novella draft I wrote all throughout 2015 into Winter 2016 about a girl named Ashley who finds a strange library at the bottom of a well.
- (untitled draft #5: Camera head narrator) - An unfinished but substantial piece of experimental fiction I wrote in Spring 2016 that consists of a number of different documents and narratives stitched together by the common thread of the "camera head" narrator.
Nonfiction:
- Rafflesia - A vent essay I wrote back in September 2020 after a friend of mine asked me to explain what I meant when I said so very many of the things considered important by others feel lifeless and meaningless to me.
- Rolling Hills and Roiling Sky - A vent essay I wrote in a single sitting in July 2021, when I was on the verge of throwing up, so overpowered as I was by my wrath, disgust, frustration, and alienation.
- What will we do - An essay I wrote reflecting on the current state of affairs here in the West.
Poetry:
- Clockwork (I) - A poem I wrote in Fall 2017 as an attempt to convey my creative mania in words.
- Power - A poem I wrote in Winter 2021 to try and express the intense incongruency I feel between my duty and the concerns of the world around me.
